Mom's Favorite Baby Things

Baby Food Organizer- now that we have moved onto baby food, I love this organizer! Madi eats 2 small jars of baby food a day, so when we go to Wal-Mart, we have to load up on baby food. This keeps us very organized.

Paci Clip- if it weren't for these things, we would have lot a million paci's by now! Also, if you use the Soothie Paci, cute clips are hard to find, so we had to rig one up. I stuck a pony tail holder in the hole of the Soothie and then used the clip around that.

Inchbugs- We love our Inchbugs! Sharpie markers just wash off, so these keep our name on our bottles much better.

Baby Einstein- We love Baby Einstein at our house! The DVDs and Cd's are wonderful. Madi will watch the DVDs over and over.

Swing- What a blessing this little invention has been! Madi sleeps through the night and usually doesn't wake up until about 6:30 or 7 a.m., but on Saturday's when we still want to sleep in, we can put her in the swing and crash back out on the couch for a little while and she is happy!

Crib Toys- Madi loves her mobile and her crib toys. When she wakes up in the mornings, these items keep her content for a while. We will hear her on the monitor just playing and talking to them.

Floor Toys- These were also a great invention! Madi loves to get down in the floor and stretch and play, so these keep her occupied and she has fun playing with them.

Johnson's Baby Lotion in Lavender- This is seriously the BEST smelling stuff ever! I have no idea if it helps her sleep better for not, but I put it on her everyday so she will smell good.

Plastic Bibs- Now that we have moved onto baby food, these are wonderful! We tend to make a little mess with our food.

Swaddle Blankets and Sleep Sacks- Swaddle blankets were wonderful when Madi was smaller, but we have now moved onto the sleep sacks. The swaddle blankets will help a newborn to sleep better and that is so important those first couple of weeks! The sleep sacks we use now don't really help her to sleep better, but do give her some extra warmth.

Thanks, that was a huge help! I am always looking to see what the "must" are! It is great to have friends that have already been through this!

Great faves Betty!

Yes a food organizer is essential...those jars get really messy unless you have some sort of system down. Oh & I'm soooo very tired of Baby Einstein {M only likes 1 over & over again} but it makes him happy if he's fussy & I can sneak in a shower too. And your post is a reminder- I need to make a crib toy holder...letting M play solo after waking up has let me sleep in an extra hour on some Saturday mornings!

So glad you shared your faves because I need to try Inchbugs out =)

I second the sleepsacks! What a great way for baby to safely sleep with a blanket. My first son slept in his Halo sleepsack until he was over 2yr. What kind of sleepsack do you use? I highly recommend the Halo ones.
