Progress on Madi's Room

Here are just a few pictures on the progress in Madi's Room. We still have a lot to do, but it is coming along!

My New Ride

My car finally died! It was a bitter sweet decision t to buy a new car. We were spoiled by not having a car paymet, but my car had about had it. We decided to go check out a Jeep at Dewey Barber Cheverolet. I got inside and loved it! We talked with the best salesman ever and got the price exactly where we needed it. If you are needing a new car, I highly recomend going to Dewey Barber. They were excellent!

My New Craft Closet

I needed a space to keep all of my sewing/ craft things. I came up with the idea of turning one of the closets in Madi's room into a craft closet. Ben built these beautiful shelves and created the whole thing for me! I love it! It is FULL of wrapping supplies, sewing supplies and all my craft items. Now I have a beautiful place to sit when I am working on a project.

My Baby Girl is Going to School

We enrolled Madisyn in the Homewood Day School this summer, but it just became real to me. I walked past the room that she is going to be in and saw her name listed on the door. Her teacher also called us and gave us her home phone number and told us we could call her anytime. I think Madisyn is going to love her school and her teachers! Looks like it is going to be a class full of little girls!

Artwork on a Budget

I have been searching for some artwork for Madisyn's Nursery and I haven't had any luck. I found a few things online and then decided that I could make my own for a much better price. I bought these frames at a yard sale for $1 and used scrapbook paper for the rest. I think this whole project was under $5! That is the kind of artwork I like!

3rd Trimester

I can't believe that I am already in my third trimester! Sometimes I feel like I have been pregnant forever and sometimes I feel like it has flown by. We went to the doctor yesterday and everything was great. I had my sugar test, but I haven't heard back on the results yet. Dr. Gregory said that everything looked perfectly normal. We go back in two weeks for our 4D ultrasound and another check up. I can't wait to get to see her again on the ultrasound!

This week, Madi is the size of a Eggplant.
