Well, I have been praying about my job situation for a long time now. God has finally answered all my prayers! As of yesterday, I will officially be an employee of the Homewood Church of Christ office on August 12th. I will be an assistant to Tim, the Youth Minister and the new Children's Minister that they are looking to hire. This has been a huge answer to prayer in many ways. I can't wait to get started on this new career path. The next two weeks will be hard, but it will all be worth it very soon. Thank you for all of you who have been praying for me. I really believe that this is where God wants me to be and I am so thankful to have such good friends to help me get to this point.

We went to a wedding this past weekend in Knoxville, TN. Our good friend Matt Koski got hitched! We had a great weekend hanging out with old friends. Here are some of our pictures from weekend.

I am thinking about redecorating our bedroom. Here are some ideas that I have seen. Let me know what you think. I know most of you have a great since of style, so any advice would be much appreciated.

My Macy has been really sick and she is finally well again! She spent 2 days at the vet and we are glad she is back!

Well, this is my first blog. My friend Jamie created this blog for me. One of my favorite things about Jamie's blog is her top favorite things. With the help of an anonymous friend, here are some of my favorite things.

1. Pizza and Ice Cream- Every Wednesday night we go to Davenports for pizza and Soho Sweets for ice cream with our friends Lee and Laura. This is one of my favorite parts of the week!

2. The Office- We'll we have gotten hooked on this show! I think we watched the first two seasons in about a week. I can't wait for the new season to come back!

3. Nordstroms Shoes- I love shoes, but I have a very small foot. Nordstroms not only has ver cute shoes, they have a great selection in small sizes.

4. HGTV Design Star and The Next Food Network Star- My TV stays on one of the channels at all times!

5. Bath and Body Works- I love the honeysuckle fragrance from Bath and Body Works. It is my new favorite scent.

6. Socks- This may sound super weird, but my feet are cold all the time. I don't know what I would do without socks!

7. Lucky Magazine- I love this magazine. It gives great fashion advice and tells you great places to shop.

8. Linens- One of my favorite things to buy is linens. I love looking for blankets, dish clothes, and placemats. On of my favorite places to look for these items is TJ Max. They have such a great selection and great prices.

9. Paula Deen- Paule Deen is my favorite cook on HGTV! I have many of her cookbooks and I love cooking her recipes. One day I will go to Savanah and eat at her restuarant. If you haven't watch Paula's Party on HGTV, you are missing out!

10. Saturday Mornings- every Saturday morning I go to Chick-Fil-A to get us breakfast. We usually spend the next hours or so watching The Soup on E! or VH1 Video Countdown. I think it is another one of my favorite parts of the week.
