We are waiting for her to take off any day now and start crawling. She gets into the right position and either just starts rocking or going backwards. I guess it is time to start baby proofing the house. She is getting to be such a big girl now!









At 8 months...

* Laughs out loud all the time- especially at her Daddy

Madi's First Beach Trip

We made our first beach trip with Madi this past weekend. Ben's family goes every summer and we had a blast! Madi was a trooper too! We could not have asked for her to have been any better.

She slept for about 3 hours in the car and then just played the rest of the time. She hardly shed a tear!


We didn't really get on the beach because it looked like this. The oil had just come in and it was pretty nasty!

My uncle is an excellent photographer in Knoxville, TN. He was in town over Memorial Day and took some pictures of Madi. I absolutely love them! He is coming back in July if anyone needs some pictures done!

Crazy Little Girl

Last night Madi woke up about every hour and just wanted us to hold her. One time when I went into her room she had leaked out of her diaper and we had to change her entire bed. We didn't feel like putting the bumper pad back on, plus it is probably time to take it off anyway. So this is how I found her this morning......

and she was dead asleep!
