Madi is Here!

October 27th, 2009 was the best day of our lives! We had our baby girl Madi! Everything went perfect and we could not have asked for a better pregnancy and delivery. It was an amazing experience. Brookwood Hospital has the best staff and doctors. They made all the difference in the world. Ben was amazing too. He was by my side the entire time and was so encouraging and supportive. Madi has a great daddy!

I will be a Mommy 1 Week from Today!!!

Me and Ben went to the doctor yesterday and Madi is still doing great! We are making progress towards delivery and just patiently waiting her arrival. Dr. G said that we will schedule induction October 27th- 1 week from today and also Ben's birthday! That is unless Madi decides she needs to come early. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we take on this new adventure. We have a few more doctor's appointments in the next week, so just pray they go well. We are so excited to meet her and can't wait for all you to meet her either!

Week 37 and Counting...

Month 9: Watermelon

At week 37, your pregnancy is considered full term, meaning baby is likely to thrive after birth. Baby spends these last weeks in preparation for the outside world… meaning careful refinement of the blink, suck, inhale and exhale. Meconium, which you’ll probably find in the first diaper, is accumulating in the intestines. If (okay, as) you worry about giving birth, consider what it’s like for the little one. During the journey out of your womb, baby will produce more stress hormones than any other time in life.

October is Here!

I can't believe October is here! This is the month that our daughter will be born (hopefully)! I am ready for things to start flying by like everyone says they will. We are so ready to meet her. I go to the doctor next Wednesday, so maybe we will be able to get a little more information about how the rest of the month will go. Please keep us in your prayers as we become parents and welcome this sweet little girl into our lives!
