Top 5 Things to Make for Baby Madisyn

I have been in a very crafty mood lately. Here are the top 5 things that I have found online that I want to make for Madisyn. Hopefully pictures of my attempts will be up soon!

1. Minky Dot Burp Cloth- these are so cute and look really easy!


2. Wipe Case Cover- I found a tutorial for this online, so I am going to attempt it. I will let you know how it turns out.


3. Hair Clips- These are just too cute! I am praying for a baby with a lot of dark hair and these will be perfect!


4. Baby Book- I decided to make my own baby book. I started looking for one and never found one that I really liked. Here is the cover that I am shooting for. I am up to 50 pages already!

5. Magnetic Alphabet- I know it will be a long time before Madi will put this to use, but I think the idea is so cute! I found a tutorial online for these too. It is just magnetic paper cut out into letters and covered with cute fabric. This one might not happen for a while!

Me and Jamie went to Chick-fil-a Monday to eat lunch because we had coupons for a free kids meal. We can never turn down a free lunch! When we were paying for our meal, the cashier told us that if we didn't want the toy we could bring it back up to the counter and exchange it for free ice cream. We were so excited about this! When we were done eating, we got back in line to get our ice cream when a strange man leans over to me and says, "Getting back in line huh? I see you are eating for two!" I know it is getting more obvious that I am pregnant, and I am okay with that, but who says things like that to people?!?!?!?!

Lamp Make Over

I have no idea why I never blogged about this, but here are the pictures of a lamp that I bought and gave a major make over to. It's kind of a funny story about this lamp, but I bought it at the garage sale our church had earlier this summer. I went out and bought some spray paint to paint this lamp and a couple of other things that I was working on. Then I found out that morning that I pregnant, so no spray painting for me! My wonderful husband ended up painting it for me. I did make the shade though.
