15 Months Old

We went today for our 15 month check up. I found out that Madi still has or has a new ear infection. No wonder she has been a little cranky lately. She is also getting her top two front teeth, so I guess she has a few good reasons to be ill. At least she didn't point at the doctor this time and tell him "No, no no".

At 15 months Madi is...

Length: 31 1/2 inches
Weight: 21 lbs 12 oz

Into EVERYTHING. Exploring new things everyday
Starting to climb- which is a ton of fun!
Is a good eater if she is eating something she likes, but she is very picky.
Can say Mommy, Daddy, Uh-oh and a lot of other words I can't understand.
Loves the song "If You're Happy and You Know It" and claps along to it.
LOVES bath time!

Growing up too fast!

My Little Climber

I think I'm going to have a little climber on my hands.

She didn't learn to dance like that from me either!

Snow Days

Along with everyone else in Alabama, we were trapped in the past two days from the snow and ice. We had fun playing, sleeping and just hanging around the house. We were ready to head back to school today though!

Poor Diesel was the playmate most of the time. He didn't get a second to himself.

Such a sweet girl!

I think we played with every toy we own!

and read every book! This is her little reading spot. She grabs her book, a blanket and her boppy and she is ready to read.

Sleeping Through Lunch

Poor Madi can't stay awake during lunch for anything. We are moving to one nap a day and hers always seems to hit her at school during lunch.
Her sweet teachers send me pictures of her all the time and these just crack me up!

My Little Cook

Madi's favorite thing to do right now is is cook and try to feed people. She will make anything she can find a bowl and spoon. She will stir her spoon in the bowl and then try to feed her imaginary food to us or Diesel. Diesel is sweet to play along with her. They are still the best of friends!

What It's All About

Please take time to read this blog entry. It will challenge you in every way.

The Christmas with the Ear Infections

Our Christmas break was fun, crazy, exciting, exhausting, etc- and we loved almost every minute of it. Turns out our little girl had ear infections. She had been congested for a while and it just kept getting worse. We took her to the doctor and she had infection in both ears! Poor thing could breathe or sleep. We spent many nights on the couch so she could sit up to sleep. We are paying for that a little now as she still wants to sleep with us. But hopefully getting back to school and in her normal routine will help with that. She is back to her normal crazy self and talking up a storm. We aren't sure what she is saying all the time, but she is talking!
Here are some pictures of our Christmas...

Mar gave us this horse and Madi loves it!

Madi loves to sit in the middle of her boppy and read books. She does this almost every night.

Madi loves to get a spoon and cup and stir and feed us or Diesel. So I figured why not learn to feed yourself when you think it is so fun. She makes a pretty good mess, but she loves it!

Madi and her hat. She finally started keeping it on when her ears hurt.

My silly nephews

My aunt and uncle brought their new puppy to Christmas. Madi only tortured her a little.

Christmas morning. Poor Madi felt awful this morning, but was a trooper and opened her presents and played for a little while. We gave her a DVD player for the car which she loved!

Nanny rocking Madi

Madi and Levi just wanted to play with their old toys at Gran's.

Madi and all her gifts! I would say she was one spoiled little girl!

We had a wonderful Christmas and were blessed beyond what we deserved! Thank you to our wonderful family for making it so special!
